About F. Richard Wilton Jr., Inc.
F. Richard Wilton Jr., Inc. is a third generation, family owned and operated, walls and ceilings contractor that has been proudly serving the Richmond area since 1953 with a commitment to construction excellence.
What started as a small residential plastering company quickly grew to become an industry leader in the commercial construction industry for over 67 years. Innovators since our founding, we were the first in Richmond to install metal stud and drywall partitions, synthetic stucco systems, thin coat plaster, and housed the first prefabricated panel shop.
Our company is now owned by F. Richard Wilton’s daughter, Melissa, and her husband, Scott Brannan. Their son, Taylor, serves as its Vice President. In addition to continuing to offer plaster and lathe work, we have grown our services to include EIFS, metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and more. Our team has worked on a broad range of projects, from $1,000 to $12 Million, and across numerous industry sectors, including private commercial, public, healthcare, residential, institutional, and industrial. From installing traditional plaster with wood lathe to building out a state-of-the-art office tower and everything in between, our team can complete any wall or ceiling project.
At F. Richard Wilton, Jr., Inc., we pride ourselves on our level of experience, the quality of our work, and our commitment to the safety of our employees. We strive to develop long lasting relationships with our clients and to provide a positive working environment for our employees.
